Sometimes it happened to me that when i opened my disc for reference or to review previous files my computer hanged up. I thought there is something wrong with my cd-rom. You know i have no idea with computer technicalities. It made me spent some penny just to find out that there's nothing wrong with it. Oh c'mon! Your post is useful for someone like me. Your efforts of sharing this article is appreciated. After spending about 3 hours scouring the Web for info on Sonic (I assumed the problem was with it) - I went and did the finalizing just like mentioned above. Problem solved. I've had another issue that causes a similar problem. I seem to encounter a similar problem when I am on battery power.
