I want to spend up to 2000 dollars and need to put something in my bedroom. I want something moderately sized (30 – 40 inches). what is a good television to get? Also, as a bonus could someone explain to me the difference between plasma and regular flat screens?

Great spec for a TV of this price.

I recently changed from a Sony set to LG and have been very impressed by the quality.

With LG you are not paying a premium for the name, and the quality is right up there with Sony and Panasonic in my opinion.
