Today, I feel proud to announce that the Techie Zone which came into World Wide Web as a blog has now fully grown up to become a full fledge web site. I started up blogging not long back and never thought that once I will be able to make this blog a web site. In my short stint as a blogger I have seen this blog going through many bad phases during its journey till date.

Initially I started up with blogger due to lack of knowledge about blogging and Wordpress. Gradually I familarized myself with various technology in the World Wide Web and interest in blogging started growing. So I moved into a separate domain name and started Techie Zone Blog. At that time only I planned that once I will make a full web site so kept the blog in a separate subdomain blog.techiezone.in. When I signed up for this domain Wordpress was my unanimous choice as blogging platform due to the easier administration and lots and lots of customization and flexibility. I experimented with different hosting providers but none were able to keep up to my expectation. Then once during the month opf October 2007 the worst thing happened to this only child of mine, I lost everything on my blogs, all my posts, pictures and users were taken out of me. I was totally broken but never gave in. I learned the best lesson in my life. Then I decided carefully before moving into this new hosting service called Dream Host pro. This is the best and affordable web hosting provider for a starter like me. I am now 110% satisfied with there service. Did I tell that they have the best support you can ever imagine (but bit strict rules).

The idea of making the web site and integrating the blog with it was always in mind and I was working on it. But due to lack of time ( I am into a full time job) I was unable to give a shape to my dream. But finally time came and I could not resists my desire to give the blog some siblings. Hence today as a result of this I can proudly dedicate this web site Techie Zone to my readers and well wishers. Now the home page is looking what I always wanted it to look. Modules like Forum, Directory (not fully ready), Contact us etc has been carefully integrated into the site and I have been able to keep the theme of the site. Almost all modules have been managed to look similar. I will share the secret about it later.

Currently the Home Page is having a Page Rank of 2 and Blog Page is having Page Rank 4. Very soon I am expecting the PR to grow. All thanks goes to my readers and well wishers without whom I could never have been able to sail my jourtney as a blogger. I thanks all those who provides me feedback regularly and as a bonus I would like to tell that the best feedback I will receive through the Contact Us form regardin this new look of the site will be eligible for a text link ad for 2 months on the blog (Don’ forget, it is a PR 4 blog) or $10 through paypal.
