Thanks for this post! I think the best piece of advice here is to have your own domain name and to make it clear and attractive. In the battle for the best domain name, it does take a certain sense of creativity and ingenuity to think of one that will attract attention, and more importantly, traffic.

I also recommend SponsoredReviews and Project Wonderful for advertising.

Sponsored reviews will get you a lot of money, ($5-$10,000 per review) but you might risk losing some places in Google for paid links..

Project Wonderful is a great way to start earning, but you won’t earn very much… You’re paid per day not per click, by the way, so it’s a nice and secure source of income..

What do you reckon is the best way to host your blog, getting your own hosting account or go to one of the free ones who offer the whole package for free, with the disadvantage of not owning your own domain name.
